Synopsis:
A top-down 2D bullet dungeon game created in the Construct3 game engine. Player controls a scientist and fights their way through rooms of slimes to make an escape out of the dungeon. Includes a static tile map, original sprites, and UI art.

Project Overview:
In my Foundations of Game Design course at UCSC, I worked in a team of three to create a two-dimensional graphical game that can be played on a web browser. Over the course of 2-3 weeks, we designed all of the game assets, programmed the mechanics/gameplay in Construct 3 using Javascript, and wrote engaging narrations.

Responsibilities:
- Programmed player-character controller and movement, enemy AI follow, onscreen UI, camera functionality, and health system
- Debugged and tested game through multiple iterations
- Designed bullet feel and controls

My Contributions:
For this project, I was the main gameplay programmer while my teammates handled assets and art/narration. I was responsible for iterating on feedback and fixing bugs in the gameplay whenever one was brought up. I made sure to polish the movements of the characters and camera focusing on the playable character.
